Making a secure online donation

If you feel that the Gearing Commander website is useful and even saved you money by not having to experiment with expensive parts, you can show your appreciation by making a secure online donation.

To do so you can either use your credit card or a PayPal account. In both cases you will be taken to a PayPal page where you can either log in with your PayPal account or continue to a credit card payment. Although it seems that the PayPal page come from the Gearing Commander website (due to using frames), they actually come from PayPal and use a secure https-connection. You can check this while you are on a PayPal page by:

• select right mouse button,
• select 'Properties' (IE7) or 'This Frame / View Frame Info' (FireFox 2.0)
• check the Address to be from PayPal

If you do want to make a donation, you can do the financial part in the language of your choice. Click the green GC-donate button besides your preferred language. You will be taken to a Paypal page in which you need to fill in the amount you want to donate:

• fill in the amount in Euro's you want to donate
• update the page by clicking 'Update Totals'

• Now you can either Login using your PayPal account or you can continue to a credit card payment if you do not have a PayPal account. Look for the 'Continue' link to the left of the Login area:

• Now select the country you live in and the available payment methods will be shown:

• Now fill out the rest of the fields and click "Review Order and Continue"

You will be presented with the data you entered after which you can submit your donation. After that you will return to a page of the Gearing Commander.
